About Color Blindness

Protanopia

Red-blind. Difficulty perceiving red light. Reds appear darker or brownish, and distinguishing red from green is challenging.

Deuteranopia

Green-blind. Difficulty perceiving green light. Greens and reds appear similar, often resulting in a muted brown/yellow palette.

Tritanopia

Blue-blind. Difficulty distinguishing blue from green and yellow from violet. Blue light perception is reduced.

Achromatopsia

Total color blindness. No cone function — only shades of gray, black, and white are perceived (monochrome vision).
